Help Us Support the Recovery Efforts in Western North Carolina
The people of Western North Carolina desperately need the help of our Plum Dragon community as they recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene. While the storm has left these communities in dire need, we know that together, we can help them heal and rebuild.
We received the following direct request from Dr. Wheatley Posey, a local acupuncturist and herbalist, who is leading the charge in providing wellness aid and materials.
How We’re Helping
Plum Dragon Herbs has partnered with Dr. Wheatley Posey and Acupuncturists Without Borders to provide essential healing supplies to those affected by Hurricane Helene. These supplies will support vital Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments for pain relief and emotional support in some of the hardest-hit areas.

"My name is Dr. Wheatley Posey, native Appalachian in Western North Carolina, acupuncturist, herbalist, and small business owner."
"I am in the process of collecting wellness aid & materials to support our efforts here in the rebuilding of Appalachia after Hurricane Helene massively decimated our people, businesses, and land. Mountain folk are a proud bunch, so it is with great humility that I reach out, asking for help... Instead of sending mass emails and relying on federal support, which may never come, I am reaching out to those whose products I have loved, that have helped my own patients, and that can provide support to this area while we wrap each others' wounds collectively."
