Dan Nan Xing (Arisaema pulvis); Arisaema Amurense cum bile; Arisaema cum Bile
Also called “Jack in the Pulpit,” Arisaema rhizome is a very strong herb that grows in North America as well as Asia. While Tian Nan Xing exhibits bitter, acrid and drying actions, the bile treated version (Dan Nan Xing) has a more cooling and moistening energy and is treated with synthetic bile to relieve its natural toxicity.
This strong phlegm resolving herb is often used to remedy injuries and clear hot phlegm.
