Referred to as Loranthus in the past, the Mulberry branches and foliage are Wind-Damp dispelling substances that tonify the Liver and Kidney to strengthen bone and sinew. This tonic Wind-Damp herb is bitter and neutral in energy, and enters the Liver and Kidney meridians. It is sometimes combined with other Liver or Kidney tonics such as Du Zhong or Wu Jia Pi for their complimentary additive effects.
