This is my favorite herb from Plum Dragon. It is delicious to munch on, affordable, consistent quality, flavorful, dried well [but not too dry] so you get a large amount in each bag. This herb is less bitter than regular angelica, but still flavorful with a pungent almost cheesy-like flavorful that is delicious. It comes in thin strips that are just dry enough to have a good snap when broken. There are many large pieces in the bag, along with smaller ones that have broken off. This is one of the most flavorful herbs I have ever experienced. I like to use it along with herbs like fungi or bitter herbs to make them more palatable. I use the angelica dahurica every day and never get tired of it.
