Bing Pian Herb, (Borneol Herb); Dryobalanops aromatica; Borneolum Syntheticum

Bing Pian or Borneol, of the Dyptercarpaceae family, is an aromatic substance that opens the orifices. This cooling substance has a similar consistency and pungency to that of menthol crystals, no doubt due to its similar chemical composition. However, they are used for different purposes.
