1. Tonifies Qi, Strengthens the Spleen and Kidney:
- Deficiency characterized by fatigue, lack of energy, and poor appetite (use with Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, and Gan Cao)
- Soreness and pain in lower back and knees from Kidney yang deficiency (use with Du Zhong, Sang Ji Sheng and other Kidney yang tonics)
- Combine with other tonic herbs for maximum effect.
