Chinese Therapeutic Actions

1. Tonifies Qi, Strengthens the Spleen and Kidney:

  • Deficiency characterized by fatigue, lack of energy, and poor appetite (use with Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, and Gan Cao)
  • Soreness and pain in lower back and knees from Kidney yang deficiency (use with Du Zhong, Sang Ji Sheng and other Kidney yang tonics)
  • Combine with other tonic herbs for maximum effect.

2.  Calms the Shen (Spirit)
