Chinese Herb: Gou Teng (Gambir)
Uncariae Rhynchophylla; Ramulus Uncarie cum Uncis
The thorny portion of this branch is used. Hook Vine is commonly referred to by the name "Gambir" as well as "Chinese Uncaria." This is an herb often used for its ability to "stop tremors" and liver wind. This pacifying herb is sweet and slightly cold in nature.
