Gui Zhi Shao Yao Zhi Mu Tang - Traditional Chinese Herbal Blend

Gui Zhi Shao Yao Zhi Mu Tang is a classical formula from Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to TCM theory, this combination of herbs is traditionally described as unblocking Yang Qi, promoting the movement of Qi, dispelling wind, eliminating dampness, clearing heat, unblocking the channels and collaterals, and calming discomfort.

Plum Dragon Herbs makes this herbal powder blend fresh to order in-house, in 100 or 200 gram quantities. This is a raw ground herbal blend, sold as powder — not in capsules (see image). Choose from the acute or severe modification to select the blend that best matches the classical pattern you're working with.

In classical TCM literature, Gui Zhi Shao Yao Zhi Mu Tang is associated with the following pattern of disharmony:

Classically, this formula is taken as powder or prepared as a decoction using approximately 4 to 12 grams of the herbal blend per day, according to traditional TCM proportions. The Severe formula contains Cao Wu (Aconite), an herb that requires proper processing and practitioner guidance — please consult a qualified TCM practitioner before use.
