Erythrina is also referred to sometimes as either Coral Bean Bark or Sea Vine Bark. Residing in the humid environment near seas and oceans, this is an important herb for dispelling cold-damp conditions and unblocking the channels and is sometimes used in certain Iron Palm applications. Erythrina is bitter and acrid and has a neutral energy. This herb works on the Liver and Spleen meridians.
