Cervus Elaphus
Lu Jin is the dried sinew material of deer. These thick moist sinews are nourishing to the tendons and promote the growth and strengthening of the sinews and joints. This "herb" is often used in rice congees and tonic formulas in the Eastern parts of the world.
Lu Jin is warm in nature, and exhibits a slightly salty flavor. Lu Jin enters the Liver and Kidney meridians.
