Auklandia is a relatively strong and versatile herb in its class of herbs that regulate energy, and is also useful for its ability to reduce the cloying effects of more tonic herbs. It is drying and dispersing, and a quite warming pain killer.
Mu Xiang translates as "wood aroma" and is one of several important aromatic herbs. While "aromatic" deals more with the function of the herb than the actual olfactory smell, we must say, we absolutely love the fresh scent of this wood!
