Nu Zhen Zi, (Privet Fruit), Ligustrum Lucidum; Ligustri Lucidi Fructus 

Nu Zhen Zi is principally a Yin tonic working on the Liver and Kidney and tonifying jing (essence). Nu Zhen Zi is used in a number of exemplary internal formulas used in martial arts training, including Spring Wine.

This herb also dispays immunostimulant and hepatoprotective abilities.
