Called Tumeric or Circuma Tuber, this herb is first and foremost a Blood invigorator. It is acrid and bitter and exhibits cold energy. As per the Nineteen Antagonisms, this herb should NOT be combined with Ding Xiang (Cloves) in any recipe.
